On December 2 you can see the Moon and the bright planet Venus.
Looking Southwest after sunset.
The moon and Venus rank as the second-brightest and third-brightest celestial bodies, respectively, after the sun.
On December 4th watch the Moon close to the Red Planet in the evening twilight sky.
Watch for Mars as dusk gives way to nighttime, looking at the Southwest sky.
